Cafe Istanbul

-Grubbing in Chicago
A Regional Turkish Treat in Wicker Park

Over the last few years Chicago has seen it's Turkish food scene greatly improve. A 2019 article in the Reader written by Mike Sula describes this boom. One of the spots featured is Cafe Istanbul which sits in a small strip mall in Wicker Park. It's corner location along Division means they have a nice outdoor space as well as a decent amount of indoor seating. From what I could tell on my visits it's a popular spot with anybody who has a Turkish background in not just Chicago but the entire Midwest.

Locals Favorite in Wicker Park

As Mike Sula details in the linked article this place is ran by a man from Turkey who was talked out of retirement to come here. With him he brought one of Turkey's most iconic spits of meat (Turkey is arguably the spit grilled meat capital of the world). Cag Kebab is a must get menu item from here. So much so that I cant bring myself to try anything else bc I have to have this if I'm eating at Cafe Istanbul. The Cağ kebabı (Cag Kebab) here is arguably Chicago’s best prep of spit grilled meat. It’s a regional specialty consisting of a horizontally grilled cone of lamb meat. Cooked over live fire and sliced “on the skewer” which is inserted into the meat and then sliced off resulting in an extra long piece of spit grilled fatty lamb. An absolute stunner and something that’s pretty rare outside Istanbul and Erzurum, the latter being a city in Eastern Turkey where Cag Kebab is said to have originated. Turkey is near the top of my bucketlist largely due to dishes like this. Having it in Chicago is a treat.

I really want to thank Dr Emu for saving my marriage. My wife really treated me badly and left home for almost 3 month this got me sick and confused. Then I told my friend about how my wife has changed towards me. Then she told me to contact Dr Emu that he will help me bring back my wife and change her back to a good woman. I never believed in all this but I gave it a try. Dr Emu casted a spell of return of love on her, and my wife came back home for forgiveness and today we are happy again. I have suffered with human papilloma virus (HPV) ever since I was a child but it's only been the last few years I discovered that I have genital warts. So I started looking for a way to get cured permanently from this deadly virus, because it just won't stop popping up around my genital organ. I visited so many gynecologists in search for a solution but it never worked out. So I started searching for a cure to my genital warts online. Few month ago I came across a site where a lady was sharing a testimony about Dr.Sambola about how he had cured herpes virus and different diseases with natural herbs, so I decided to give it a try. I email the Doctor and he told me how I was going to get the remedy, so I did as he instructed. Few days later I received the remedy and I started taking the herbs as instructed by the Doctor. I was shocked two weeks after, when i noticed that the warts were all gone. I want to a gynecologist over and he ran some tests on me and told me that I was free from genital warts or HPV or condyloma. So I decided to let the world know how I was cured from genital warts by Dr.Sambola. You can reach Dr.Sambola through his email: sambolaherbal@gmail.com Or WhatsApp/ +2347011451611 if you also want cure for your warts, herpes, HIV/AIDS or any disease listed below, also contact Dr.
